Kids In The Spotlight’s First Annual Red-Carpet Fundraiser Showcases and Awards 10-Minute Films Created by, Written by, Cast by and Starring Kids!

The festival held on saturday October 30, 2010 was a wonderful success. The event helped to raise money for feature films by kids, while highlighting and rewarding the talents of the kids who participated. It was a star studded event, Host Harry J. Lennix and Sherri Shepherd , which presented eight kid created films on various subjects. (check out pictures from that night) The kids were then awarded Jordan Awards for categories from Best Actress to Best Film.

The films will now be sold in a compilation to the public to help raise more money for the continuation of the work of Kids In The Spotlight. The Los Angeles Public Library has already bought copies and the films can be checked out by the public.
